Another photo I took during a holiday in Fiji, December of 2004. This is probably my favourite one out of all of the pictures I took while we were there. I actually painted this picture for my Dad and gave it to him for Christmas that year. I would upload a picture of the painting but Mum got it framed and the glass reflects everything, so... Yeah, you've got the original-it's the next best thing.
Thanks! Yeah-I painted it. The colours didn't turnout anywhere as vivid as in the photograph though but my Dad liked it which is good.
Glad you like it-thanks for the nice comments.

Here goes:
I really like the shadows and the minimal light here. The effect of the small band of sun peeking through the far horizon's strip of cloud is a brilliantly effective contrast to the rest of the fading light of the picture. The blue twilight sky is very much an awesome colour, and the trees marking a bold silhouette across the cloudy vista. It's a really tender moment, also - the way the boat is situated almost at the centre, the light in the foreground, and the trees themselves. All this creates a mgic scene of wonder, that we can see though your vision.
You are truly a blessing, Dani. I am glad to have seen this, and will try to give you meaningful comments as you have given to me!
Well, now that was a meaningful comment! You've certainly taken the time to really look at this one! I can't wait to hear your views on my next (eventual) deviations!
But, like I said-I'll do my best to get a couple of things up over the next few days. Once I get all of these Art Design and Drama assignments out of the way though of course!
Thanks, David!
Of course! Well, I think you're very sweet, so I decided to try and be the same to you, and give you the reasons behind why I like anything you may do. So there it is - my opinion. I'm touched that you like my thoughts!

We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
