Artist's Comments

From the portrait assignment. This is probably quite a personal one really. I sort of did it to experiment with different ways of shading and rendering and so it is therefore somewhat different to the style I usually find myself working in. I'm starting to do a lot of experimenting with different styles etc. as I would really like to sort of broaden my style and I feel that this could just be a step outside of the square (even if it IS only a small one...) :O.

Woah-thanks! Yeah-it is kinda emo really. Although, I -was- listening to The Haunted while I drew it... He he! It took me so many tries to get the photo that I drew it from right-I wanted it to capture the right emotion. I'm pretty pleased with how it turned out in the end I guess though.

This is amazing, the way you did everything.. I love the contrast between inside the room and out the windows, and there's so much emotion going on.. Great job :D!

Thanks a bunch! :) Mmmm, I guess I was pretty glad with the way it finally turned out-the only down side is that my 8B pencil is now significantly shorter than the rest of my pencils... Aw well-shit happens! I'll get over it. :D
